Favorite Finds. Fairy House.

FairyFolk

My favorite find for October is this whimsical collection of woodland objects, just waiting to be set up for a wee fairy family.  Oh how I would have loved this as a child!  Great gift idea for any child (or adult) with a big imagination.

Never Forget 9/11

This photo was taken on my walk along the lake this evening.  Forever etched in our minds are the horrific images.  We weep with the families of the fallen and remember the heroes that stood tall that day.

Saturday Link Love. Stargazing.

Well I have been stargazing this week.  Not only in the sky but on the Internet.  Take a look at what I've found!  A wonderful collection of goodies that will put you in the mood to spread a blanket on the grass and look up at the beautiful night sky.  Don't forget that August nights give you the best opportunity to see the Milky Way.  You will find it arching directly overhead around midnight.  Happy stargazing!

1.  One of my favorite graphic art posters I originally found on Pinterest.  You can go check it out and find an interesting blog on Astronomy while your at it:  10 Minute Astronomy.
2.  Planning a stargazing party?  You will find all the inspiration you need, including printables at:  See Vanessa Craft.
3.  You can purchase this stunning 5X7 paper cut illustration on Etsy at:  Sarah Trumbauer.
4.  If you have a little down time you might want to check out this Stitch the Stars tutorial at:  Poppytalk.
5.  And if the sky is overcast tonight you might want to purchase this Ursa Major Constellation Bowl instead at:  Crow White Pottery.
6.  What could be better than munching on these sweet little star cookies while perusing the night sky.  Stop by Handmade Charlotte for further instructions.

Treasury Love. Indulgent.

This new treasury on Etsy combines the beautiful color combination of ivory and sage.  My sweet little fairy pendant was included in this luxurious collection and I wanted to show it off.  Looks like everything I would want on a Summer afternoon.

Throwback Thursday Finds. 4th of July.

While looking for inspiration for the 4th of July I ran across some of my favorite pictures on my patriotic Pinterest board.  To celebrate our countries birthday I dusted off these old images for 'Throwback Thursday' (#tbt).  I am planning on making this colorful flag pie tomorrow and would still love to tackle the wooden flag sign one of these days.  What are some of your favorite 4th pins?
