Saturday Link Love

I ran across this easy and fun tutorial on how to make fabric key chains out of left over fabric scraps.  I will definitely be helping my girls with this project this summer...wouldn't they make great Christmas gifts for all their friends!

Ree features the best recipes and tutorials over at The Pioneer Woman and this week she made up a batch of Bakerella's Cupcake Bites.  These are adorable and I want to be able to eat one off the screen right now!!!

My list is short this week because I'm anxious to get outside and enjoy this nice weather we've been having.  I think I will go pour a glass of sweet tea and sit on my porch and relax.  Hope you will do the same.  Have a great weekend!

Whimsical Button Bag

Buttonpalooza Handbag

This whimsical button bag is making its way across the blog-i-verse and I just had to share it with you.  It really is 'cute as a button'.  The designer gives a warning to all you would be DIYers..."I don't recommend trying to replicate unless you want to loose your sanity."  I will keep my sanity intact and heed her warning.

Mauby's Giveaway For Joplin

Wanted to link you up with Mauby's blog and her giveaway that is set up to encourage donations to the relief efforts for Joplin.  Entry deadline is Monday, June 6th.

Art For Joplin

The folks at Moosylvania have big hearts.  I wanted to pass on this link for those interested in helping Joplin rebuild.  We live two hours away and this tragic event and it has broke our hearts.  My son and husband have been apart of the clean-up and have witnessed the disaster first hand.  These posters caught my eye and I wanted to spotlight businesses that are donating their time and money for Joplin.

"Moose art directors have created a selection of limited edition designs to be purchased and screen-printed for $25 each - all of the proceeds from these posters will benefit United Way's Small Business Fund, a project created to help in the economic reconstruction of Joplin after many of the city's small businesses were destroyed by the tornado that touched down in May."  Click here.
