Happy Friday. Winter Walk

Twigs snapping under foot.  Cold wind biting at my face.  Soft glow of the afternoon sun.  Silence.

Make Art. Hot Air Balloons.

Hot Air Balloons ~ Eye Poetry Photography

Art takes flight in this wonderful photograph by Irene Suchocki.   I love how the brown and gold tones make this photo look like a painting.  While I don't have a desire to ride in a balloon, I love watching them as they float effortlessly in the sky.  If I could travel anywhere this week it would be to see the Hot Air Balloons at the Albuquerque New Mexico International Balloon Fiesta.   Happy Friday!

Happy Friday. Meet The Neighbors.

I love my neighbors.  They are quiet, respectful and very dignified.  They are great parents, diligent and nurturing.  They busy themselves with catching fish out of the lake for their hungry offspring.  While I do believe they have introvert tendencies they love to entertain and welcome us to their home, a Cottonwood tree on the edge of our property.  We are privileged to know Mr. & Mrs. Bald Eagle and hope we will be neighbors for many years to come.  Happy Friday!

Happy Friday. Live What You Love.

Chalkboard lettering is on almost everyones Pinterest boards these days, including mine.  I love this short chalk lettering time-lapse video by Dana Tanamachi.  She is so talented and watching her work makes me smile.  Happy Friday!

Happy Friday. Cake Design.

My daughter wants to be a baker someday.  What a wonderful video to inspire her to think outside the box.  I love looking at cake design as an art form.  Warning:  This video will make you want to eat a piece of cake (or two).  Watch at your own risk!  Happy Friday!
