Saturday Link Love

Isn't this the cutest craft cabinet?!  Go check out Everything Etsy to see more pictures of this wonderful piece of organization....I can dream can't I?

I LOVE these sweet little felt hearts.  If you LOVE them too you can see how they were made over at Elle's Studio

And for those procrastinators (I'm not speaking about myself of course) that haven't purchased a 2011 calendar yet here is a link to JeannieJeannie who was nice enough to provide this charming FREE download for you.  Yay!

Don't worry, I didn't forget to add the food link.  When I first glanced at this picture I thought I was looking at Macaroon cookies.  Surprise...they are whimsical little cupcake sandwiches!  For the full scoop visit QueenVanna's blog

Enjoy the links!  I am ready to spend a nice relaxing day with my hubby.  The kids have flown the coop for the weekend and it's just the two of us.

Australia Day.

Today, Janurary 26 is Australia Day on the other side of the world.  While we are in the middle of a very cold winter our Australian friends are celebrating their national holiday in record breaking heat.  Here are a few items I discovered when I typed 'Australia' in the search box on Etsy, my favorite being that beautiful opal pictured above.

Happy Australia Day!
  G'day mates!

Happy New Year

I have reopened my shop and have been doing some cleaning and reorganizing.  Out with some old pendants and in with some new.  Check out this cute Woodland Fawn pendant that just arrived today.  Valentine pendants are on their way too.  Look for new styles coming soon.

Thank you to all my customers--best wishes to you all and happy 2011!

Sorry We're Closed.

MaryKateMcDevitt
Sorry, We're Closed.  I love this sign--not only for the lovely lettering but because when I saw it yesterday it helped me to realize that Christmas is almost here and it is time to focus on the real reason I celebrate this special day and to relax and enjoy my family.  The house has been a bee hive of activity for the past two months and I'm ready to stop, breath and reorganize our daily routine.  The tree and gingerbread house have been decorated, cookies are made, presents wrapped (well almost), Christmas music is playing softly in the background and the last of the pendants are made and waiting for the final mail run in the morning.  I couldn't have done it without the help of my family.  My kids have put labels on packages, filled tins with crinkle paper, and my son and husband have helped with the trips to the post office.  It's been a fun but hectic 8 weeks and now it is time to clean up my workroom, close the door and put out the sign.  (Or maybe I will close the door, put out the sign and clean the workroom next week).

Best wishes to you all--Merry Christmas.
