If you are like me and are looking for something to think about besides the winter weather you will find this post a nice diversion from what is happening outside.
Let's start things off right with a nod to the Double Chocolate Heart Doughnuts from the Hungry Girls blog -- YUM! I love Chocolate doughnuts as I mentioned before.
You have two kinds of hearts to choose from below. Homemade Gumdrops from fancy-edibles or Creamy Fudge Hearts from Martha Stewart. Which will you choose?
A different take on chocolate covered cherries from Hungry Happenings. Cordial Cherry Cake Balls look like they would be fun to make...and eat!
I love these Strawberry Heart Cheesecake Bites from The Happier Homemaker.
Want a quick and easy treat to make? Try Family Fresh Meal's 'Easy Valentine's Day Cookies' idea. Who wouldn't love to receive these chocolate and peanut butter Copy-cat Reese's from Makobi Scribe's blog.
And if your passion is cheesecake look no further. Beth over at Hungry Happenings says this recipe for Conversation Heart Cheesecakes is the best she has ever tried.
If you are looking for something light and airy I think this Cherry Meringue recipe from Lemons for Lulu will do the trick. They are dipped in dark chocolate to make it an extra special treat!
Drum roll please....last but not least number 10 looks so pretty and will be the perfect treat to set out for your Valentine's Day party. A Farmgirl's Dabbles blog gives us this fun recipe for Chocolate Cherry Candy Cups.
Lots of delicious ideas for the big day. Which will you try? I would love to hear from you if you decide to make one of these special Valentine's treats.
This is just a wonderful post! I am so sick of winter and white snow! The Cherry Cake Balls look yummy, I just might try making them! I have a huge jar of maraschino cherries I picked up at Costco over the holidays, so it would be a good way to use them!
