Baby It's Cold Outside!

Brrrrr...it's cold outside!  Hello and goodbye "polar vortex"!  I can't say I'll miss you when your gone.  It has been bone chilling cold today and I am happy it is moving out of here tomorrow.  I do love seeing the snow, since it is not a normal occurrence for this part of Missouri.  It was a beautiful day with the sun sparkling on the white frosted ground and the mist swirling across the lake.  I found a poem that summed up the day for most of the country...But the North sighed low, "Snow, snow, more snow!"  Well said Walter De La Mare.

  1. Wow, Missouri looks a lot like Minnesota! Glad the polar vortex is gone, well not exactly, we are having a mini vortex this week again! My bro lives in Missouri and can't believe how much snow and cold they have had this winter!! Our wind is whipping around here and there are blizzard conditions in the country! Love the pic of the falling snow and the poem is lovely!
