Food For Thought

This picture popped up on my facebook feed this morning.  Just a little reminder to slow down and make a difference.  We are only here for a short while.  Look for ways to bring joy to those around you today.  I have enjoyed reading Ann Voskamp's "One Thousand Gifts:  A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are".  Her blog has been such an encouragement to me this Summer.  Happy Tuesday!  Be thankful today for the things around you.

Rainy Days

Looks Like Rain

Today's post is dedicated to RAIN.  We have had several days of heavy downpours and mud puddles galore.  My mood is getting a little damp so I decided to try and focus all these gray, cloudy days into something creative.  I've had this photo pinned onto my shutterbug board for a long time.  I just love this shot and look to it for inspiration today to find joy in splashing through puddles.

My daughter spotted this poem and I did a little tweaking in PicMonkey to make it pretty.  I feel like the rain has 'flowed into my brain' today.  Maybe "singin' in the rain" will help.
