Saturday Link Love. Shamrocks.

I love St. Patrick's Day.  I love it because my eyes are green and I never have to worry about being pinched.  I love watching The Quiet Man and fixing corn beef and cabbage.  I love listening to Irish folk songs by Clancy Brothers & Tommy Makem.  My favorite is Eileen Aroon.  I like keeping these old, corny tradition and saying I'm a 'wee bit Irish' because that is probably all I am.  I do know that the 'wee bit' is always wanting to make it self known on St. Patrick's Day...Erin go Bragh!

Valentine's Day is only a short time away.  I hope you have something ready for the special people in your life.  I miss the days where I was helping to decorate Valentine boxes and licking envelopes with one of my children's Valentine stuffed inside.  Lots of special memories of those days.  My kids are older now but I still like to decorate and make yummy treats.  Here are a few inspirations I came across this week.

And who doesn't want a little chocolate on this special day?!  Here is a cute DIY Valentine Chocolate Box craft from Mel's Kitchen Cafe.  So sweet!

I saved the best for last.  How about showing you love your family by making these yummy Chocolate Chip Bannana Pancakes for breakfast and this Homemade Skinny Chocolate Cake for dessert.  Both of these delicious creations were from Skinnytaste.
