My son and husband have been apart of the clean-up and have witnessed the disaster first hand. These posters caught my eye and I wanted to spotlight businesses that are donating their time and money for Joplin.

Some clever person had this on their Twitter feed this morning. It immediately brought back fond memories of Saturday morning cartoons. Bugs Bunny was one of my favs along with Elmer Fund, Daffy Duck and the rest of the Looney Tunes. I hope this picture of Bugs giving Gossamer a manicure gives you the same warm fuzzies that it did me.

I am off to spend Saturday morning with my daughters at our local Walk MS. I have recently become friends with someone that has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Today, Janurary 26 is Australia Day on the other side of the world. While we are in the middle of a very cold winter our Australian friends are celebrating their national holiday in record breaking heat.
